Within school, we have recently bought a Slider. This is a piece of equipment that can be used to film things along a smooth straight line. The camera is attached to it and a moth moving shot is created. I decided to research tutorials on this piece of equipment, so then if we needed a shot like this in our short film both me and Alex would know how to use it. I found this tutorial really helpful, as it is very simple to follow, and the guy doesn't go too fast which is good if you are new to filming like myself. It also goes on to talk about focus points, which can make a film look very effective.
